Educate, Connect, & Promote
The Cooperative Council of NC is an association comprised of and in support of cooperatives. Founded in 1935, CCC's mission is to educate, connect and promote cooperatives across North and South Carolina.
MEMBERSHIP
CCC is comprised of cooperative members from the following industries: electric, credit unions, food/ grocery, insurance mutuals, communications, agriculture, co-op supporting organizations and more.

COMMITTEES
Cooperation Among Cooperatives Employees of our member cooperatives volunteer and meet virtually each month to strengthen our mission. Current committees include: Communications, DEl, Program, Finance and Strategic Partners.
COOPERATIVE CONFERENCE
Our 2-day conference, held annually in the first quarter, brings our members together to network & collaborate across co-op sectors. CCC's Annual Business Meeting & Scholarship Awards are presented at this conference. This event is a great opportunity for those in current leadership roles and aspiring co-op leaders. Each CCC member co-op receives two complimentary registrations each year.
CLC
Cooperative Leadership Camp is a week-long, overnight summer camp for high school students ready to discover how they can make a difference in the world through cooperative business. Attendees learn about co-ops, leadership and team building while connecting with leaders from across the state! Students are sponsored by member cooperatives and CCC.
CO-OPS FOR COMMUNITY
CCC provides members with an opportunity to host youth at their organization. We provide the educational curriculum and youth participants receive a certification after completing the program! Sponsored by NCBA/CLUSA and Cabot Creamery Co-op.
COOPERATIVE DYNAMICS
An interactive workshop held annually for cooperative staff and volunteers to learn about the co-op movement as a whole and see beyond their own industry. Available to CCC member co-ops at no cost.
COOPERATIVE CONFERENCE
The Jim Graham Leadership Scholarship is a $1,000 college scholarship awarded to a graduating high school senior who has attended Cooperative Leadership Camp. This scholarship is in honor of James "Jim" Allen Graham, the face of North Carolina agriculture for nearly 40 years, and the state's longest serving agriculture commissioner.
Events
Having your cooperative be a member of CCC means having access to exclusive events. Don't miss out on these annual events that leave a lasting impression.
On-site Training
We welcome member co-ops to schedule us for on-site training, virtual sessions or other events. We bring the materials, you sit back and learn! One on-site training per year is included with CCC membership.
Lunch & Learns
Schedule us to visit your cooperative and hold an informative session about CCC and what we can do for your organization. Order lunch for your team, and we'll bring our 20-30 minute presentation. CCC members are welcome to schedule a Lunch & Learn for up to 30 people anytime.
Co-ops For Community
Host youth groups at your organization to teach them about cooperatives. We provide you an educational book to assist you in showcasing your co-op industry, and youth participants receive a free patch after completing the program! Sponsored by NCBA/CLUSA and Cabot Creamery Co-op.
